As many people know the original Banjo Kazooie game became very popular on the Nintendo 64 back in the late 90’s. In fact, since its release in 1998 Banjo Kazooie has managed to reach over 3.6 million units worldwide in terms of sales and ended up within the top ten as far as best sellers for the Nintendo 64 was concerned. Seeing how successful Banjo Kazooie was for the Nintendo 64 its questionable on why Rare never decided to release another game for GameCube back in the early 00’s. We did how get a chance to see at least two Banjo Kazooie game on the Game Boy Advance between 2003-2005.
However, the Banjo Kazooie titles that came out for the GBA were not nearly as good as the two titles that appeared for the Nintendo GameCube. Its a real shame that we never got to see a Banjo-Kazooie title for GameCube especially since the series was a big attraction for the N64 back in the late 90’s. Banjo- Kazooie could have definitely retained its popularity if Rare had released some 3D titles for GameCube opposed to Game Boy Advance back in the early 00’s.
