Will Super Smash Bros Ultimate sell one million copies within a month?

When it comes down to highly anticipated fighting titles this year one of many titles everyone is talking about is Super Smash Bros Ultimate. This multiplayer fighting title is set to be released for the Nintendo Switch in December 7th in various such as Japan and America. Everyone has bedeviled waiting for Super Smash Bros Ultimate since 2014 which was when the lad test game in the series was released. Ever since, the release of Super Smash Bros Wii-U a few years ago the game has managed to become a huge success reaching over 5.3 million in worldwide sales.

Seeing how big Super Smash Bros Wii-U was a few years ago there is no doubt that Super Smash Bros Ultimate has the potential to be more successful. As of right now it’s hard to predict how well it will do in sales. But since Super Smash Bros Ultimate will appear close to Christmas there is no question that the game can sell over one million copies within a month.

Does Blur deserve a direct sequel?

When it comes down to racing titles from the early 10’s that deserves a direct sequel one of the many games that instantly comes to mind is Blur. For those who do not know Blur was developed by Bizzare Creations and published by Activision and released during the Spring of 2010. Ever since it release Blur was praised for its visuals thanks to the Horizon Game Engine. Also, the gameplay for Blur was pretty and had the potential to become a rival to racing titles such as the Mario Kart series. But as many people know Bizarre Creations had become defunct back in February 2011 after it was shut down by Activision.

Despite, the game having poor sales there were definitely plans on making a sequel to Blur utilizing a new game engine. If Bizarre Creations was still around we probably would have seen Blur 2 years ago. But at the same time it seems like Activision has no interest whatsoever on making a sequel to Blur. The fan base for Blur was small and it was not much of a success on a commercial level despite being a really good racing game.

Upcoming Switch Games- Bastion (2018)

There are so many upcoming titles that the world is looking forward to seeing on various game consoles as we get closer to 2019. One of the many games to be on the lookout for on the Nintendo Switch is a action-adventure role playing title developed and published by Supergiant Games entitled Bastion. This game is rather interesting since the plot involves as players trying to understand the secrets of a Calamity that has devastated the world. Also, the fact that Bastion has reactive narrative along with players exploring up to 40 different hand painted environments also makes this action adventure role playing title worth checking out especially since the game has its share of unlockables that adds to the value of game overall.

After completing the main story for Bastion players will unlock New Game Plus and Score Attack Mode which is definitely worth the effort. For those who are interested in purchasing this action adventure role playing game it will be available on September 13th for $14.99. It will be interesting to see how popular this game will become shortly after its release in September.

Will Shadow of the Tomb Raider have more success than its prequel?

As far as upcoming video games are concerned one of the many titles that everyone is talking about right now is Shadow of the Tomb Raider which is set to be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows on September 14th. As far as development for Shadow of the Tomb Raider is concerned it has been revealed by the developer Eidos Montréal that at least $75 to $100 million has went into this game. The visuals for Shadow of the Tomb Raider looks very impressive and the improved gaming mechanics are to die for. As far as whether or not Shadow of the Tomb Raider will surpass Rise of the Tomb Raider in sales is something that is questionable.

Ever since, Rise of the Tomb Raider was first released back in November 2015 the game has reportedly sold over 11 million copies worldwide. Also, the Tomb Raider game which was released back in 2013 had managed to sell over 8.5 million copies worldwide since its release. While Shadow of Tomb Raider can most likely top the game from 2013 it might be hard for some people see it selling more than Rise of Tomb Raider. But there is no doubt that Shadow of Tomb Raider will end up becoming one of the most popular action adventure titles of 2018 overall.

Was Mega Man 2 the best game within its series?


When it comes down to NES platform classics one of the many titles that instantly comes to mind aside from the Super Mario Bros Trilogy is the Mega Man series. However, as far as the Mega Man series is concerned many would argue that the second installment for the NES stands out more than every other game excluding the Mega Man X series. Mega Man 2 had a phenomenal soundtrack along with cool stages and memorable boss battles with the likes of Bubble Man, Heat Man Metal Man Crash Man and others.


Since its release back in 1988 the game has managed to sell over 1.5 million copies worldwide and continues to be a cult classic to this day. While many people have different opinions on which Mega Man game is the best its simply hard to try and choose one. But it would be safe to say out of the first three Mega Man games for the NES the second one stood the most along with being one of the best platformers for the NES during the late 80’s.

Should Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse have been ported to the SNES?


When it comes down to action-platform titles Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse was one of the most popular titles for the NES. Ever since its release Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse has been critically acclaimed along with being one the best titles within the Castlevania series in general. Despite, how successful Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse has become there are many who believe that it should have been ported to the SNES sometime during the early 90’s. Seeing Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse with detailed 16 bit graphics would have definitely been a treat back in 1990 or 1991.


However, as many of us know Konami had released Super Castlevania IV back in 1991 for the SNES. If Castlevania III was re-released for the SNES back in the early 90’s it could have possibly taken some of the shine off of Super Castlevania IV. In fact, the opposite could have happened and Super Castlevania IV could have overshadowed a SNES port of Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse. Either way, a 16 bit version Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse on the SNES would have been very interesting see between 1990 and 1992.

Should Kid Icarus Uprising be ported for the Nintendo Switch?

As many people know the Kid Icarus series has been around for over 30 years ever since the very first game was released for the NES back in 1986. However, some people might find it shocking there has been only three games within the entire series. The original NES title appeared in 1986 while Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters was released for Game Boy in 1991. The most recent entry in the series entitled Kid Icarus Uprising was released for the Nintendo 3DS back in March 2012. Ever since its release Kid Icarus Uprising has received positive reviews from various gaming publications for its story along with being fun shooter game despite the criticism it received regarding its control scheme.

As popular as Kid Icarus Uprising was for the Nintendo 3DS it does not seem like Nintendo or Project Sora has any plans on development a sequel to Kid Icarus Uprising. This is mainly due to the fact that Project Sora became defunct in the summer of 2012. However, seeing a remastered version of Kid Icarus Uprising on the Nintendo Switch would be pretty cool especially since the series does not have too many games in general.

Should Contra: Hard Corps Uprising be ported for the PS4 and the Nintendo Switch?


As many people know the Contra series has been considered to be legendary within the gaming world since the 80’s when the very first game was released on the NES. Ever since 1987 Konami has given us thirteen different games within the Contra series within the past 30 years. The last game in the series Contra: Hard Corps Uprising was released back in 2011 for the PlayStation 3 along with the Xbox 360. Ever since its release Hard Corps Uprising has received good reviews from fans and critics alike for its anime styled graphics. However, many people would argue that the arcade mode in Hard Corps Uprising was very difficult and would only appeal to hardcore fans of the Contra series.


Either way, Contra: Hard Corps Uprising was a pretty cool game back in the early 10’s and as of right now it does not seem like we will be getting a direct sequel in the near future. But seeing Contra: Hard Corps Uprising ported for a current generation console such as the PS4 or the Nintendo Switch sounds like a great idea. However, if Konami or Arc System Works ever has any plans of bringing Contra: Hard Corps Uprising to either the PS4 or the Switch console than tweaking the the difficulty of the game would be definitely helpful for those sho hav never played the game before.

Is Microsoft’s New Elite Controller for the Xbox One Too Expensive?

It has recently been announced that Microsoft will be releasing a new elite controller for the Xbox One this upcoming Fall. The design for this second generation controller resembles that of the original D-Pad. The robot white Xbox One controller looks pretty cool however one of the many things that has everyone talking is the price for this new device. The price for the new Xbox One Elite Controller is $149 and keep in mind that features such as Bluetooth support along with the inclusion of a USB–C port will be absent iLife this device.

While the new Robot White Elite controller is not too different in design in comparison to the original which came out in 2015 those who currently own an Xbox One would probably argue that the price should be somewhat lower. However, since the demand for a second generation Xbox One Elite controller has be so high since 2015 having it priced at $149 does not sound like much of a big deal. For those who are interested in pickup the Robot White Xbox One Elite Controller it will be available in electronic retail stores on October 16th.

Will there ever be a sequel to Sailor Moon Another Story?


When it comes down to underrated 2D role playing video games from the 90’s Sailor Moon Another was considered to be somewhat of a hidden gem for the SNES following its release back in the mid 90’s. For those who do not know Sailor Moon Another Story was developed and published by a video game company called Angel and released exclusively in Japan back in 1995. The game had a storyline involving a sorceress named Apsu along with the Opposito Soldiers as the main antagonists who seek to obtain the Silver Crystal by altering time. The plot for Sailor Moon Another Story was rather interesting not only because it had multiple endings but storyline looked like something that could have worked in the actual anime.


While many fans of the Sailor Moon series would love to see a direct sequel to this game it seems unlikely that it will ever happen. Ever since Sailor Moon Another Story was released back in 1995 we never saw another game in the SM series like it. In fact, Sailor Moon Another Story was never released in America back in the 90’s despite how popular the show was on Fox Kids and Toonami. While the Sailor Moon series is not quite as popular as it was during the 90’s seeing a direct sewage to SM: Another Story would definitely turn heads within the gaming world.
