It was revealed a few hours ago that an old GameCube classic from the 00’s entitled Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles will be appearing on the PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch in 2019. For those who are unaware the RPG classic was initially released back in 2003 and allowed multiplayer gameplay which involved the use of link cables along with multiple Game Boy Advance devices. Based on what we know it seems that same style of gameplay will emulated on the Nintendo Switch considering that fact it can be utilized as a home console and a mobile device. However, its still unclear how multiplayer mode will work on the PlayStation 4 if it seeks to emulate the gameplay experience that we got on GameCube and the Game Boy Advance during the early 00’s.

As of right now an exact release date for the remastered version of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles has yet to be revealed. In fact, its only been confirmed that Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles will be released Japan in 2019. We still have no idea on when the remastered version of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles will be released internationally but hopefully more information will be revealed by Square Enix as we get closer to 2019.
