One of most high profile games that people are talking about in relation to October 2019 is the upcoming release of WWE 2K20. For those who do not know WWE2K20 will be developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Games and is the direct sequel of last year’s installment WWE 2K19. As far as features are concerned in relation to WWE 2K20 many people will be happy to know that 2K Showcase Mode will be making a return in this game. However, this year’s 2K Showcase Mode will focus on the careers of the Four Horsewomen including current Smackdown Women’s Champion Bayley, “The Queen” Charlotte Flair, “The Boss” Sasha Banks and reigning Raw Women’s Champion “The Man” Becky Lynch in relation to The Women’s Evolution. Players will have the opportunity to relive some of the most memorable moments that defined the careers of the Four Horsewomen. The single-player 2K Showcase Mode allows people to play through key matches involving all four women from NXT to the main roster PPV’s such as the Royal Rumble & WrestleMania. The inclusion of historical footage & documentary vignettes adds to the overall quality of this year’s 2K Showcase Mode which is considered to be one of the main attractions of WWE 2K20.
Another feature that is considered to be a huge attraction in WWE 2K20 is My Career Mode which was also in WWE 2K19. However, this year’s My Career Mode allows players to create both male and female MyPlayers and use them throughout the campaign. Similar to last year’s My Career Mode people will be graced with various cutscenes and voiceovers from various WWE Superstars on the current roster. Along with the inclusion of a new My Career Mode many people will be happy to know that Universe Mode will also be making a return in WWE 2K20. As far as Universe Mode is concerned players will have more flexibility in relation match and rivalry limits on major shows. While match limits on major and minor shows have been changed from seven to nine the same has been done with PPV’s matches going from seven to fourteen.
It should also be noted that the amount of rivalries that players can have on major shows have increased from three to four while the number of shows that can co-cost a pay-per-view has increased from two to three. In addition to all these brand new features WWE 2K20 has many of today’s hottest stars including Seth Rollins, A.J. Styles, Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns, Johnny Gargano, “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt, Kofi Kingston, Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, Randy Orton and many others. As far as legends are concerned players will also see the return of big names such as “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior and more. WWE 2K20 is currently scheduled to be released for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One on October 22nd. There is no question that the features include in WWE 2K20 will definitely be an attraction to those who have been following the WWE 2K series for the past eight years.
