As many people know one of the most highly anticipated titles of next year is Doom Eternal a game developed by Id Software and Bethesda Softworks which will appear on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch. Doom Eternal will be direct sequel to the reboot that we saw back in 2016 and is one of he hottest upcoming shooter titles in the gaming world right now. As it currently stands the release date for Doom Eternal has not been revealed yet and many people are wondering whether or not it will be nearly as successful as the Doom game from 2016.
Since its release back in May 2016 the Doom reboot had reportedly sold roughly over 3.6 million copies worldwide and there has been speculation on how much Doom Eternal will sell following its release. If Doom Eternal was released sometime before Christmas 2018 it would have definitely have reached over one million copies worldwide due to the holiday season. But there is no question that Doom Eternal will definitely reach over one million copies in sales quite possibly within a month seeing how the PC version of the Doom ’16 reboot hit 500,000 in less than a month.
