When it comes down games in the Mortal Kombat series one of the more interesting titles that we got see on as Deadly Alliance which was released for the PS2 and the Nintendo GameCube back in 2002. In fact many people would argue that the Deadly Alliance game helped revive the Mortal Kombat series in general following the release of Mortal Kombat 4 back in 1997. MK: Deadly Alliance has new characters along with an exciting new storyline involving two of the series biggest antagonists Shang Tsung and Quan Chi joining forces to take over Earthrealm after destroying both Liu Kang and Shao Kahn.

Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance has nice 3D visuals but at the same time some would argue that the game’s controls were tougher to master than the average MK title. Pulling off combos with different fighting styles were rewarding if players took the time to learn them which can also be said about the in game fatalities. Even though, 2D Mortal Kombat titles are more popular than 3D games Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance is one of the many titles in the series that deserves an HD re-release for the PS4.
