Could Super Mario RPG have worked on the Game Boy Advance in the 00’s?

Back in the early to mid 00’s we got a chance to see so many cool titles on the Game Boy Advance including popular SNES titles such as Super Mario Bros I-III and many others. Super Mario RPG was one of the top RPG titles from the mid 90’s and was never re-released or ported for the Game Boy Advance back in the early to mid 00’s. There is no doubt that Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars could have worked on the Game Boy Advance since it was a 32 bit handheld console.

However, Square Enix and Nintendo were not exactly on good terms during the time following their fallout during the mid 90’s. For the most part Square Enix produced big RPG titles for Sony and their consoles such the PS1 and the PS2 during the late 90’s and the early 00’s. If Square Enix and Nintendo were on better terms in the early 00’s there is no doubt that Super Mario RPG along with many other titles could have been ported for the Game Boy Advance.
