One of the few high profile racing games that people are talking about as it relates to this year is Hot Wheels: Unleashed; which has been confirmed to appear on various consoles. Hot Wheels: Unleashed will be released for the PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch along with Microsoft Windows. This upcoming Hot Wheels title will be developed and published by Milestone; an Italian gaming company that has been producing racing titles since the mid 90’s. Some of the more recent games the Milestone has produced included included MotoGP 19 & 20 along with MXGP 19 & 20. While the MotoGP and MXGP series appeal more to hardcore fans of the racing genre Hot Wheels: Unleashed will most likely attract causal gamers. Hot Wheels has been around since the late 60’s and almost everyone who has basic knowledge about anything racing related is familiar with Hot Wheels. The announcement trailer for Hot Wheels: Unleashed in March 2021 got many people excited. We also had the opportunity to see a gameplay trailer for Hot Wheels: Unleashed which looked very impressive to say the least. There are various car types that players will be able to choose from including Dodge Wrangler, Night Shifter, Bone Shaker, Twin Mill and Rift Rod.
As far as racing locations are concerned in relation to Hot Wheels: Unleashed the only place that has been confirmed so far is a garage seen within the first gameplay trailer. There definitely more stages and locations that are going to be revealed for Hot Wheels: Unleashed; along with additional vehicles that players will be able to choose from. Hot Wheels: Unleashed is most likely going to be rated “E” and is a racing title that will appeal to both kids and adults. As it currently stands Hot Wheels: Unleashed is set to be released worldwide on September 30th. Those who are interspersed can pre-order Hot Wheels: Unleashed in addition to the Collectors and Ultimate Stunt Edition; which features DLC and car passes along with the regular version of the game. Hot Wheels: Unleashed looks very promising and will be very interesting to see how much of an attraction the game will become following its release in September 2021.
