As many people know the 10’s decade is almost over and as far as best selling game systems are concerned there is no question that console has sold more this decade than the PlayStation 4. Since its initial release back in November 2013 the PlayStation 4 has managed to reach at least 80 million units worldwide in relation to sales. Games that are PS4 exclusives such as Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Horizon Zero Dawn and God of War: which came out within the past three years are considered to be more popular than almost anything we have seen from consoles such as the Nintendo Switch or the Xbox One. While titles such as Super Mario Odessey and Zelda: Breath of the Wild continue to be big attractions for the Nintendo Switch there are plenty of big games that are expected to appear on the PS4 along with the Xbox One this year.
There are games such as Kingdom Hearts III, Resident Evil 2: Remake, Code Vein, Jump Force and others that are guaranteed to make those who do not own a PS4 or an Xbox One to purchase them. As far as whether or not the PlayStation 4 will reach 90 million in sales this year remains to be seen. However, its almost certain that Sony reveal what the PlayStation 5 looks like sometime this year while a release date fort has yet to be revealed.
