As many people know the PlayStation VR has been popular since its retail release back in October 2016. In over the past two years Sony has managed to sell at least 3 million VR headsets worldwide which is actually quite impressive considering the fact that Virtual Reality gameplay has yet to reach its peak in popularity just yet. With titles such as Batman: Arkham VR, Tetris Effect and many others some question whether or not cinema would be big in relation to Virtual Reality. Similar to how older generation consoles such as the PS1 & PS2 had additional features such as being able to listen to music from CD’s some argue that Sony should be more creative in relation to increasing the overall satisfaction among customers in relation to their consoles and their accessories.
If the next generation console and headset which are known as the PlatStation 5 and the PSVR 2 had features that allowed players to watch high definition or Blu-Ray movies using a Virtual Reality headset that would be incredible. However, unless people are making their own movies or internet video from scratch and posting them on the internet for a online community such as YouTube too see than the PSVR in general would most likely be better suited for gaming.
