Red Dead Redemption 2 not coming to the Nintendo Switch?

Ever since Red Dead Redemption 2 was released back in late October it has managed to become one of the most successful action-adventure games of 2018. Since its release Red Dead Redemption 2 has managed to reach over 15 million units worldwide in sales and has universally praised by fans and critics for its visual quality, storyline and its online multiplayer game mode. Seeing how successful Red Dead Redemption 2 has been for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One there have her questions going around on whether or not the game was ever going to be ported for the Nintendo Switch anytime the near future.

In fact, in a interview with President of Nintendo Reggie Fils Aime has expressed interest in having Red Dead Redemption 2 on the Nintendo Switch sometime in the future. However, it should be noted that the developmental process of Red Dead Redemption 2 started way before the Nintendo Switch was ever conceived. A port for Red Dead Redemption 2 is something that cannot be rushed. Even, if Red Dead Redemption 2 were to come to the Nintendo Switch it would most likely be overshadowed by first party games such Super Mario Odessey, Mario Kart 8: Deluxe. Zelda: Breath of the Wild and many others despite how popular the game is right now.
