As far as retro video games for the Nintendo GameCube is concerned one of the many titles from the early 00’s that comes to mind that many people talk about is F-Zero GX. It is definitely one of the few GameCube racing titles that deserved a direct sequel especially considering the fact that it rivaled the likes of Mario Kart: Double Dash in terms of popularity following its release in 2003. The F-Zero series has been dead for at least 15 years now and it seems like Nintendo has no plans whatsoever on reviving it despite how successful F–Zero GX was. While we did get a chance to see the F-Zero game from ’91 re-released for the SNES Classic last year seeing F-Zero GX ported for the Nintendo Switch would be epic in general.

However, the chances of getting a Switch version of F-Zero GX seems slim to none as of right now especially since we have racing titles such as Mario Kart 8: Deluxe, Fast RMX already available for that console along with an upcoming title Grid: Autosport which is expected to appear sometime in 2019. In theory it would be nice to see F-Zero GX on the Nintendo Switch in the future but in reality it may fall below desired expectations in terms of sales especially will all the the games that are currently available for the hybrid console right now.
