Ever since its release Super Mario World has managed to reach over 20 million copies worldwide in relation to sales. Also, when this game was re-released as Super Mario Advance 2 for the Game Boy Advance in late ’01 it was also a huge success on the handheld 32-bit console.
On the GBA Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2 managed to reach over 5 million units worldwide in relation to sales during the early 00’s which was very impressive. Super Mario World had amazing visuals and top notch gameplay and was a title that held its own against the Sonic the Hedgehog trilogy back in the early 90’s.
