When people think about the top five Zelda games that Nintendo has ever made Ocarina of Time is usually included in their respective lists. In fact, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is arguably considered to be the best Zelda title that Nintendo has ever made. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was legendary following its release back in ’98 not only because it was the first 3D game in the series but also due to elements such as excellent gameplay including the game’s soundtrack, lock on feature, time travel and others. Since its release the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time managed to sell at least 7.6 million copies worldwide for the Nintendo 64.
As it currently stands Twilight Princess along with Breath of the Wild are the top two best selling games in the entire Zelda series. Despite, both games having a higher sales volume than Ocarina of Time some would argue that a modern day high definition remake of this title would probably be better than Twilight Princess or Breath of the Wild if Nintendo ever decided to make it a reality. While Ocarina of Time is still considered to be arguably the best Zelda game in the series 20 years later after its release everyone has their preferences on which title stands above the rest.
