As many people know the Left 4 Dead series was very popular back in the late 00’s for game consoles such as the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. While both games were critically acclaimed between the late 00’s-early 10’s neither one those games have ever appeared on any Wii consoles. It quite possible that Value Corporations knew that Left 4 Dead would not have been as popular on the Nintendo Wii especially since family friendly games were bigger attractions on that console. When it comes down to the first person shooter or survival horror genre of gaming they genre tend to sell more on PlayStation and Xbox based consoles in general.

While having Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 on the Nintendo Switch would be pretty cool in theory its uncertain how successful it would be on the hybrid console. Also, its uncertain whether or not the Nintendo Switch would be able to run the Source game engine. But seeing how the Nintendo Switch can run high quality Unreal Engine games having titles like Left 4 Dead in that console should not be that much of a problem. However, at the time being it seems like Valve Corporations has no plans on bringing Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 to the Switch console whatsoever.
