As many people know Super Mario Party will be appearing on the Nintendo Switch on October 5th. Many people around the world have been waiting to see Super Mario Party for the Nintendo Switch ever since the release of Mario Party 10 back in 2015. While there has been much anticipation for Super Mario Party since E3 2018 we are now just learning that the game will not be playable in handheld mode which is quite interesting. It has been revealed that Super Mario Party will only be playable in TV or tabletop mode since most of its mini-games require motion control using the Joy-Cons.

Despite, Super Mario Party not being playable in handheld mode it should not have a significant effect on how much the game sells overall. Just about every other Mario Party game has only been playable in TV mode and they have all been successful. In fact, there is a good chance that Super Mario Party will sell more than one million copies worldwide before the end of 2018.
