There were so many groundbreaking announcements that we heard at this year’s E3 event back in June involving the release of upcoming for 2019. One of the few announcements that people were hoping for involved PlayStation 5 along with its anticipated price release date. While some people are speculating that the PlayStation 5 will arrive sometime in 2020-2021 there are upcoming games such as the Resident Evil 2: Remake and Kingdom Hearts III which are expected to appear on the PlayStation 4 next year. However, there has been no talk about those titles appearing on a next generation Sony console.

As we all know the PlayStation 4 is not backwards compatible with the PlayStation 3 and its unclear whether or not Sony continues this trend with PlayStation 5. Seeing that it has been almost five years since the PlayStation 4 was released there is not doubt that it would be somewhat early if it appeared sometime in 2019. But since we are pretty much near the end of the 10’s decade it would be reasonable if Sony provided the world with some type of news regarding the design and features of the PlayStation 5 at E3 2019. There is no doubt that the PlayStation 5 will end up being possibly the most popular game console of the 2020’s decade.
