It might come as a surprise to those who were fans s of 2D RPG titles due the early 90’s that Seiken Densetsu 3 has yet to be released in America. Some might argue that Seiken Densetsu 3 was one of the best 16 bit role playing games that Square Enix has ever produced to remain exclusively in Japan. Ever since Secret of Mana was released for the Super NES back in 1993 the game was seen by many as a timeless classic due to its impressive 2D visuals and great story telling. Also, the multiplayer gameplay in Secret of Mana added to the appeal its overall replay value similar to that of Seiken Densetsu 3.

While both Secret of Mana and Seiken Densetsu 3 were both ported for the Nintendo Switch during the summer of last year they remained exclusively Japan. They are both two titles that would definitely be a huge attraction in America especially since 2D games seem to standout more on the Nintendo Switch in general. Maybe somewhere down the line the Switch versions of the Secret of Mana and Seiken Densetsu 3 will be released in America but as of right now it seems like Square Enix has no plans on doing so at the time.
