When we think about underrated RPG titles from the early 10’s on the Nintendo Wii one of the few titles that comes to mind is The Last Story. For those who do not know The Last Story was s game developed by AQ Interactive and Mistwalker Corporation and was first released in Japan back in 2012. The worldwide release for the Last Story did not take place until 2012 and ever since then it was considered to be one of the best RPG’s for the Nintendo Wii. This game was praised for elements such as its real time combat system and its single player campaign.

In addition its multiplayer co-op modes added to the replay value of The Last Story since players had the option to either face each other in various different stages versus fighting in game bosses from the single player campaign mode. While many people want to see a direct sequel for The Last Story there is plenty of uncertainty on whether or not it will actually happen. The director for The Last Story Hironobu Sakaguchi has been focusing on the Terra series since 2014 and there has not been any mention whatsoever of him turning his attention to The Last Story. However, the idea of bringing this underrated RPG Wii game to the Switch would definitely be something that fans of the series would love to see.
