As many people know Stardew Valley is probably one of the most popular farm-simulation games of the 10’s decade. Since its initial release back in February 2016 the game has managed to be a success across multiple consoles including the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch. Not only has Stardew Valley managed to sell over 3.5 million units worldwide but it has also made millions of dollars in revenue for the game’s publisher Chucklefish within the past few years.

As popular as Stardew Valley has been so far the addition of a multiplayer mode will only add to the overall replay value of the game itself. The multiplayer mode will enable players to recruit up three friends who can help each other manage their farm along with various crops & livestock. Also, the multiplayer mode will add a touch of realism as players will be able to get married within the game. Also, players will be able to share messages through chat boxes which is vital to effective communication in regards to working together. The multiplayer update is expected to launch on August 1st and is a feature that will make Stardew Valley more appealing than ever.
