As of right now Dragon Quest XI is one of time he hottest JRPG’s on the PlayStation 4 and it’s expected to be ported for the Nintendo Switch sometime in the future. However, there are some who question whether or not Dragon Quest XI should be released for last generation consoles such as the PlayStation 3 and the Nintendo Wii-U. At this point there are not to many games that are being released for the PS3 or the Nintendo Wii-U. The PlayStation 3 has been around since 2006 and the Wii-U was considered to be a commercial failure since it sold less than 20 million units worldwide.

The visual component of games like Dragon Quest XI are a large apart what makes them appealing and having them on last generation consoles seems pointless. Dragon Quest XI definitely shines on the PlayStation 4 right now and will eventually standout on the Nintendo Switch in the future.
