When we think about top RPG titles from the early 00’s that were on the Nintendo GameCube Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is one of the main titles that instantly comes to mind. Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door was initially released in July 2004. Since its release Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door Over 2.2 million units worldwide along with receiving praise from gaming websites such as IGN and GameSpot.

Also, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is probably the closest we are going to get to the original Super Mario RPG title in terms of creativity within the role playing particular genre of the series. As of right now it does not seem like Nintendo has any plans on making s new Mario RPG title for the Nintendo Switch. Bringing back the Mario RPG title from the Nintendo GameCube would definitely be something that many people would love to see in the future.
