When it comes down to SNES Classics that deserved to be on the Game Boy Advance Earthbound was one of the many titles that would be in the top ten of many people’s list. Earthbound otherwise known as Mother 2 was probably one of the top RPG titles of the 16 bit era back in the early 90’s. As popular as it was on the SNES its a bit shocking that Mother 2 never appeared on the Game Boy Advance.

While it’s true that Mother 3 did appear on the Game Boy Advance back in 2006 the game was never released outside of Japan. If HAL Laboratory decided not release Mother 3 in other countries besides Japan then we should not be too surprised that they had no plans to port Mother 2 for the Game Boy Advance in the early 00’s. In theory Mother 2 could have worked on the Game Boy Advance but the series had pretty much decided by the early 00’s.
