As of right now Gran Turismo Sport is one of the most popular video games for the PS4 right now and is currently competing with the likes of Forza Motorsport 7 in terms of popularity within the racing genre of gaming. As popular as Gran Turismo Sport has been since late 2017 there are some who wonder whether or not the game would be a success for the PlayStation Vita. While Polyphony Digital does not have any plans to bring Gran Turismo Sport to the handheld console it would be interesting to see a new racing title for the PlayStation Vita.

The visual features for Gran Turismo Sport such as the graphics along with the frame rate is very impressive on the PS4. If Gran Turismo Sport was ported for the PlayStation Vita it would be hard to tell if the visual quality would as good as the PS4. Also, frame-rate issues could surface which would detract from the overall experience of a PS Vita port of Grand Turismo Sport. The idea of keeping Gran Turismo Sport as a PS4 exclusive make the game more attractive in the long run and Polyphony Digital would be better off leaving the game off the PlayStation Vita.
