When it comes down to beat em up fighting games for Nintendo the Final Fight series was probably one of the most popular set of games that the world got a chance to see back in the early 90’s. While the Final Fight series was available mainly for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System the are some who wonder whether or not the Final Fight series could have been just as popular on the NES due the early 90’s. After all, we did see beat em up games such as Double Dragon and Battletoads that became popular on the NES console during the late 80’s and early 90’s.

However, after seeing the Final Fight series on the SNES it’s hard to picture seeing the game on the NES since the visual quality of the Super Nintendo version of the game was awesome during that time period. As popular as the Final Fight series was on the SNES it most likely would not have been as popular on the NES especially since 8 bit gaming was starting to become obsolete due the early 90’s.
