When it comes down to 2D platform titles of the 90’s Sonic the Hedgehog: Triple Trouble is a title that does not get m as much recognition as some people think it should. Even though, the game had an interesting plot involving Dr. Robotnik, Knuckles the Echidna and Nack the Weasel as antagonists this game was only available for Game Gear when it was first released back in 1994. There are some who wonder how much of a success Sonic Triple Trouble could have been if it was released for the Sega Genesis instead during the early 90’s.

On one hand Sonic The Hedgehog: Triple Trouble could have stood out more on the Sega Genesis. On the other hand Sonic: Triple Trouble could of been overshadowed by games such as Sonic & Knuckles along with Sonic the Hedgehog 3 on the Sega Genesis as well. However, the overall quality of Sonic: Triple Trouble could have been much better on the Sega Genesis since it was considered to be a huge issue for Game Gear during the time.
