There is no doubt that that Super Metroid is one of the most popular SNES titles of the early 90’s. Not only was Super Metroid a commercial success by eventually selling over one million copies worldwide but it was also featured on the SNES Classic which came in September 2017 along with many other games. If Super Metroid was good enough to be featured on the SNES Classic then how come the game was never never ported for the Game Boy Advance during the early 00’s.

While the SNES was a 16 bit game console the Game Boy Advance was 32 bit so porting Super Metroid to the GBA should not have been a problem. One of the reasons why Super Metroid never made it to the Game Boy Advance was because we ended up Metroid Fusion back in 2002. Along with the release of Metroid Fusion we also got to see of Metroid Prime on the Nintendo GameCube in 2002. There was no doubt that Super Metroid could of being overshadowed by those two games back in the early 00’s.
