When it comes down to top SNES Racing titles of the 90’s both Top Gear along with F-Zero are two games that instantly come to mind. Both Top Gear were SNES Classics from the 16 bit era of gaming. However, it seems like F-Zero stood out more than Han the original Top Gear title did back in the early 90’s. In terms of which racing title had more success many would be inclined to argue in favor of F-Zero.

While Top Gear was an impressive racing title for the SNES many people were more interested in seeing a direct sequel for F-Zero especially on the N64. In fact many can argue that the F-Zero series overall was more popular than Top Gear. The F-Zero series had remained somewhat popular up until the early 00’s when we got F-Zero GX. Since 2003, we never got an official for the game and is something many people want to see.
