MegaMan & Bass was arguably one of the best action adventure platform titles that Capcom has never released in America for the SNES back in 90’s. One of the reasons why the SNES version MegaMan & Bass was never released in America was because during the time the PS1, N64 along with the Sega Dreamcast were all very popular during 1998. However, MegaMan & Bass was eventually ported for the Game Boy Advance and was released in Japan, America between 2002-2003.

Even though, the Game Boy Advance version of MegaMan & Bass was well received by critics and fans of the series this title should have definitely been released for the PS1 back in 1998. However, there was always a chance that MegaMan & Bass could have easily been overshadowed by MegaMan X4 which was released August 1997.

But since MegaMan X5 was not released until 2000 having MegaMan & Bass on the PS1 in 1998 could have worked out theory. But in terms of sales it’s questionable how well MegaMan & Bass would have done especially since the series started to slowly decline in popularity during that time period.
