When it comes down to Racing games for the Nintendo 64 Mickey’s Speedway USA is one that is often overlooked. In terms of visuals the game somewhat resembles Mario Kart 64 but at the same time it was not quite as popular. After all, Mickey’s Speedway Racing was released in late 2000 which was around the same time the PS2 was first released.

It’s quite possible that Mickey’s Speedway USA was overshadowed by the popularity of the PS2 in later part of 2000. If this game was saved for the Nintendo GameCube it could have been more popular than it was since the N64 was starting to become old around that time period.
