When it comes down to the pricing of the PlayStation 4 it was pretty expensive but it still paled in comparison to that of the PS3 which was released back in 2006. We have been hearing about the PlayStation Neo for quite some time now and based on what has been said about the upcoming console it seems very impressive. Sony has revealed numerous details about the PlayStation Neo and has made numerous promises in terms of what do expect after this console is released worldwide. Some of the features for the PlayStation Neo includes higher frame rages, 4K video support along with enhanced virtual reality experiences which will improve the overall quality of 1080p games for the PS4. In some ways the PlayStation Neo feels like an upgraded version of the PlayStatino 4 Pro which was released a few months ago in October 2016.

If that is the case then the price difference between the PlayStation 4 Pro and the PlayStation Neo should not be too different. The PlayStation 4 Pro was released at $399.99 in America which seemed like a hefty but fair price considering all of the features that were included in this console. Adding another $100 and making the PlayStation Neo $499 would mean that the price average for the PlayStation Neo would be similar to that of PS3 when it was first released in America back in the mid 00’s. While some people would say that making the PlayStation Neo at least $100 more expensive than the PS4 Pro is a mistake others would argue that its a calculated risk. However, considering the fact that the PlayStation 4 Neo is an updated version of the PS4 Pro bumping up the price by $100 may seem reasonable. If the PS4 Neo is expected to be more expensive than the PlayStation 4 Pro then we can only imagine how much the Xbox Scorpio will cost in comparison to the Xbox One S.
