Its hard to believe that the Pac-Man series has been around for more than four decades now. It seems like the legendary maze series is now more popular than its ever been since its early 80’s inception back in arcade centers. Back in April 2021 Bandai Namco Entertainment and Arika had released Pac-Man 99. Everyone knows that Pac-Man 99 is suppose to be similar to Tetris 99 from 2019. Also, similar to Tetris 99 the Pac-Man 99 game places emphasis on innovate online multiplayer gameplay featuring numerous parties of players. While the popularity of Tetris 99 is well documented it seems like Pac-Man 99 has also become a favorite among casual gamers as it relates to the Nintendo Switch. In fact, it was recently reported that Pac-Man 99 has managed to reach at least 9 million downloads in less than two years which is an amazing feat. Pac-Man 99 shines more on the Nintendo Switch than any other game console right now mainly because it a more family friendly game that appeals to almost everybody. Also, on game systems like PS4, PS4, Xbox Series X and Xbox One titles within the action-adventure, RPG and shooter genre tend to stand out more in terms of being mainstream attractions among teenagers and young adults. Pac-Man 99 is most likely going to one of the most high profile maze games for the Nintendo Switch for the next few years or so.
