The Shovel Knight series has been popular among retro indie gamers since its inception back in ‘14 due to its 16-bit look and gameplay. Since the mid 10’s we got to see at least five different games within the Shovel Knight series and we are about to get some more very soon. It has recently been revealed that a spin-off action puzzle adventure game entitled Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon is expected to appear on the Switch console right n Winter 2021. Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon will be published by Yacht Games and will support ten different languages. The Pocket Dungeon game will allow players to choose ten different characters while giving them the opportunity to participate in few game modes. Players will be able to choose between Story, Versus and challenge mode as it relates to offline single & multiplayer gameplay. Utilizing chain attacks, power-ups plays a significant role in making this puzzle-adventure dungeon crawler even more exciting. Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon will be a nice little holiday treat for fans of the series; before Shovel Knight Dig comes out in 2022.
