Dragon Age 4 set for release in 2022?

Dragon Age 4 is one of the few upcoming games that many people around the world have been waiting on for the past several years. The Dragon Age series began back in ‘09 during the PS3/Xbox 360 era of gaming with the most recent installment being released back in 2014. The latest entry within the series was entitled Dragon Age: Inquisition which appeared on multiple game systems including PS4, PS3, Xbox One along with Xbox 360. Dragon Age: Inquisition was one of the more popular games within RPG genre as it related to ‘14. Dragon Age: Inquisition was praised by multiple gaming publications for being a stronger entry than its ‘11 predecessor. While there some minor criticisms in relation to the plot of Dragon Age: Inquisition the game itself looked and played beautifully thanks to the Frostbite engine. It should be mentioned that BioWare intends on utilizing a modified version of the Frostbite engine for Dragon Age 4 which is set to appear on the PS5, Xbox Series X and Microsoft Windows. The anticipated release date for Dragon Age 4 is sometime during the first half of 2022.

Even though, Dragon Age 4 is expected to appear sometime in ‘22 Electronic Arts not BioWare did show any gameplay footage of this upcoming RPG at E3 2021. While its believed that Dragon Age 4 is still in its early stages of development; the general belief is that BioWare has reportedly been working on this game since 2015. Also, each Dragon Age game that has been released since Origins from ‘09 came out a few year removed from each other. After Dragon Age: Origins was released in ‘09 we got Dragon Age II during ‘11 and Inquisition by the year 2014. For years many had believed that the Dragon Age series was dead but it seems like the demand for a sequel to Inquisition has pushed BioWare enough to make new game within the series. Hopefully, we learn more information regarding the plot along wih what to expect as far as gameplay is concerned for Dragon Age 4 before the ended of 2021.
