As far as shocking announcements are concerned in relation to E3 2019 many people were not expecting to see Polymega at the event. As we have learned that Polymega is a retro game console that runs games from older game consoles such as NES, SNES, TurboGrafx-16 Sega Saturn, Sega Genesis, Neo Geo CD and others. In fact, the Polymega is like an all in one retro game console which was developed by Playmaji and is one that will definitely give the other Mini consoles that we have seen released between 2017-2019 some decent competition in relation to the console wars. Based on what we know the base module of the Polymega is supposed include several pre-installed games and of course players will have the opportunity to install their own whether it be a CD or a cartridge from almost any console from the 90’s.
As it currently stands the Polymega is currently open for people to pre-order for the price of $249 following its reveal trailer at E3 2019. It was also revealed that top quality games will be available for $3.99 while retro CD titles will be priced at $5.99. No official release date for the Polymega has been revealed but many people are speculating that will be able sometime later in 2019. It will be interesting to see how much success the Polymega will have following its upcoming release especially with the Sega Mega Drive Mini and the TurboGrafix-16 Mini coming out in the near future.
