For those who missed the 2018 Gamers Choice Awards Fortnite had was voted to be the most popular multiplayer & Battle Royale game of 2018. The interesting thing about Fortnite winning awards at this year’s Gaming Choice Awards is the fact that the game was released back in July 2017 and has been out for well over a year now. But then again the Battle Royale concept that we see in games such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was made popular by Fortnite to begin with. As far as big titles of the 10’a decade in general is concerned Fortnite has earned a ton of money specifically over $300 million in revenue in little over a year which is an astonishing feat. It should also be noted that Fortnite was also voted “Fan Favorite” game of the year which is something that is not too surprising seeing how popular the game still is.

Fortnite is available for all platforms including the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch and owners of each console can engage in online multiplayer crossplay which is something that appeals to just about everyone who has the game itself. There is no doubt that Fortnite will still end up being best online multiplayer Battle Royale throughout 2019 and will be every bit as popular as it has been this year.
