When it comes down to underrated action adventure titles of the mid 90’s Nights Into Dreams was considered a gem for the Sega Saturn back in the day. Ever since, Nights Into Dreams appeared on the Sega Saturn back in ’96 the game has been praised by critics for its visuals and gameplay along with being a title that was more deserving of a release for the Sega Dreamcast. Despite, never appearing on the Sega Dreamcast Nights Into Dreams the game was ported for the Xbox 360 along with the PlayStation 3 back in 2012. For whatever reason Nights Into Dreams never appeared on the Nintendo Wii or even the Wii-U since 2012 which has some thinking whether or not the game has lost its luster.
But then, a game such as Nights Into Dreams would most likely standout more on a console like the Nintendo Switch opposed to the PlayStation 4 or the Xbox One nowadays. As it currently stands Sega or the Sonic Team has no plans whatsoever on bringing Nights Into Dreams to the Nintendo Switch or developing another entry into the series. Its always possible that Nights: Journey of Dreams which was released for the Nintendo Wii back in ’07 can appear on the Switch console sometime in the future.
