As many know today marks the 27th anniversary of the legendary side scrolling platform title known as Super Ghouls n’ Ghosts. This game was developed by Capcom and released for the Super NES back in 1991. Ever since the initial release of Super Ghouls n’ Ghosts the game has reportedly sold over 1 million units worldwide. Also, Super Ghouls n’ Ghosts has been re-released for various game systems such as the Game Boy Advance back in 2002 along with the Wii and Wii-U Virtual Console between late 00’s and the early 10’s.

Also, Super Ghouls n’ Ghosts was ported for the Nintendo 3DS in 2016 and re-released as one of the many games that appeared on the SNES classics back in September 2017. Visually Super Ghouls n’ Ghosts looked impressive and the gameplay had much to be desired. If anything there are many people would love to see Capcom produce another game within the series. The last time we ever saw a game with the Ghosts n’ Goblin series was in 2010 when Gold Knight II was released for the iOS. The idea of having another game Ghost n’ Goblin game for the Nintendo Switch sounds cool and would definitely be something that would turn heads within the gaming world if Capcom has any plans on reviving the series at all.
