As many people know today marks the 20th anniversary of the Metal Gear Solid game which was released for the Sony PlayStation. Ever since, the release of Metal Gear Solid back on September 3rd 1998 it has been widely regarded as one of the best action-adventure stealth games of all time. Metal Gear Solid was praised for its plot involving Solid Snake in his attempt to stop FOXHOUND. The cutscenes along with the voice acting for Metal Gear Solid were also very impressive along with the 32 bit 3D visuals for this game which added to its overall appeal. Since its release Metal Gear Solid: Tactical Espionage Action has managed to sell over 6 million units worldwide on the PS1.

A few years later following its release Metal Gear Solid: Tactical Espionage Action was remade and re-released for the Nintendo GameCube as Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes in 2004. The retelling of the story in Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes was just as good as the original and had much better cutscenes with improved graphics along with a majority of the cast members were involved in the voice acting of the PS1 version of the game. Seeing how popular Metal Gear Solid: Tactical Espionage Action was back in the late 90’s it would be pretty cool if Konami gave us a modern day remake of Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes for wither the PlayStation 4 or the Nintendo Switch in the near future.
