
As many people ether Nintendo Switch has been one of the most popular game consoles along with the likes of the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. Since its release back in March 2017 has sold close to 20 million in worldwide in less than two years. With games such as Super Mario Odessey, Mario Kart 8: Deluxe there is no question that the Nintendo Switch will continue to skyrocket in terms of sales during the next couple of years. However, there some who question whether or not the Nintendo Switch will surpass the likes of the PlayStation 3 during entire cycle in relation to retail availability.

Since its initial release back in 2006 the PlayStation 3 has managed to approximately 83 million units worldwide. The PlayStation 3 was one of the best seeing game consoles of the 2000’s next to the likes of the Nintendo Wii and the Nintendo DS which both reached over 100 million units worldwide in sales in their respective life cycles in retail. As of right now it’s too early to tell whether or not the Nintendo Switch will end up reaching over 83 million units worldwide in sales. But there is no quest that the Switch will end up surpassing the the Super Nintendo Entertainment System along with GameCube within the next two years or so.
