When it comes down to video games from the mid 80’s to early 90’s time period Konami has developed many cool titles. One of the many games that people enjoy during the 8 bit era of gaming for the NES was Castlevania II which was initially released for the Famicom Disk System exclusively in Japan before beyoort go the NES the following year in America during 1988. While some people might argue Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest was not as popular as the first or the third game in the series the game was praised by many for its visuals along with its gameplay.
Also, similar to games such as Super Mario Bros 2 along with the Zelda II: Adventure of Link this title was looked at as the black sheep of NES Castlevania series by some people . Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest had gameplay that was somewhat different from its predecessor and was challenging to many who played it. While Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest was not as popular Bloodlines, Symphony of the Night or Dracula’s Curse it was still a pretty cool platform-adventure for the NES during the late 80’s and early 90’s.
