When we think about popular platform titles within the couple years on the Nintendo based consoles one of the many titles that instantly comes to mind is Super Mario Maker. As many people know Super Mario Maker was initially released for the Nintendo Wii-U back in 2015. Since its release on the Wii-U Super Mario Maker has managed to sell over 4 million copies along with being ported to the Nintendo 3DS the following year in December 2016. Seeing how big Super Mario Maker was on the Wii-U it would make a lot of sense for Nintendo to port the game to the Switch console sometime in the future.
However, there has been no talk among top officials within Nintendo about bring Super Mario Maker to the Switch console. As of right now it seems like Nintendo is focusing on other projects along with upcoming releases with games such as Super Mario Party. As of right now games like Super Mario Odessey and Mario Kart 8: Deluxe are currently in the spotlight as far as the Nintendo Switch is concerned. Having Super Mario Maker on the Switch console would be exciting unless Nintendo plans on releasing a direct for the hybrid console in the future. V
