When we think about big games from the early 10’s on the Nintendo Wii that deserved a direct sew but never got one Sonic Colors is one of the many that comes to mind. Sonic Colors was probably one of the best 3D Sonic games ever made along with the likes of Sonic Adventure 2 & Sonic Generations. As far as Why Sonic Colors never received a direct sequel on the The Nintendo Wii or even the Wii-U is something that is questionable. Since its release Sonic Colors has sold over 2 million units worldwide on the Wii console and without a doubt a huge success back in 2010.

Everything from the graphics to the gameplay all the way down to the storyline and cutscenes for Sonic Colors was amazing. While it seems like we will never see a direct sequel for Sonic Colors having the game ported for the Nintendo Switch probably be the next best thing. In fact Sonic Colors would probably do better in sales on the Nintendo Switch than Sonic Forces did.
