When we think about top RPG titles that came out during the 00’s one of the many games that comes to mind is Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. When Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories came out for the Game Boy Advance during the early 00’s there were many people who were highly impressed by its unique combat system. The card based battle system was something that you did not see in many RPG’s back in day and it was one of the many things that added to the appeal of the PlayStation 2 & Game Boy Advance versions of Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories. The isometric perspective used in certain parts of the Game Boy Advance version of Chain of Memories resembled something that you would see in a old school Sega Genesis game.

As far as whether or not either version of Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories could have worked on GameCube in the early 00’s is questionable. It’s no secret that Square Enix which was the publisher for Chain of Memories was not on great terms with Nintendo during that time period. But at the same time since we got to see a Game Boy Advance port of Chain of Memories shows that Square had some type of working relationship with Nintendo during the time. Besides even if we did see a GameCube port of Chain of Memories it could have easily been overshadowed by countless first party titles such as Metroid Prime and Super Mario Sunshine.
