When it comes down to big Wii games that deserves to be ported for the Nintendo Switch many would argue that the New Super Mario Bros Wii would probably be on the top of most people’s list. Even though, the New Super Mario Bros Wii game is approximately a decade old it was one of the best selling games for the Nintendo Wii. Since its release back in November 2009 the New Super Mario Bros Wii game had managed to sell over 30 million units worldwide on the Nintendo Wii. In fact the New Super Mario Bros Wii was within the top five of being one of the best selling titles for the Wii console.

While a game like the New Super Mario Bros Wii would be perfect for the Nintendo Switch it can was be overshadowed by games such as Super Mario Odessey. If Nintendo ever made a decision to re-release the New Super Mario Bros Wii for the Nintendo Switch it would probably be best if they waited a few years from now. There are so many new Mario games such as Mario Tennis Aces, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Mario Odessey that are currently in the limelight within the gaming world right now. Bringing back an older Mario Wii game for the Nintendo Switch May not be the best decision for Nintendo right now.
