As many people know the 2018 Anime Expo starts tomorrow on July 5th and will last up until July 8th in Los Angeles, California. For those are fans of both anime and video games Anime Expo is one of the biggest events of the year and there is so much to see and enjoy. This year games such as Kingdom Hearts III and Dragon Quest XI will be featured at the Anime Expo which is something many people are looking forward to seeing. However, similar to E3 2018 the Final Fantasy VII: Remake will not be making an appearance at this year’s Anime Expo.

The news regarding the absence of the Final Fantasy VII: Remake should not come as a surprise to many people. The E3 2018 event was only a few weeks ago and despite seeing screenshots of the Final Fantasy VII: Remake prior to June 12th we still did not get a reveal trailer from Square Enix. Despite, it not appearing at E3 2018 the director of Final Fantasy VII: Remake Tetsuya Nomura has reported that the game’s development was moving along faster than expected. Its very possible that the Final Fantasy VII: Remake will appear at E3 2019 or next year’s Anime Expo but until then we may not see to many trailers for the game throughout the rest of 2018.
