When it comes down to the MMORPG genre of gaming it always seemed like many titles such as Guild Wars II, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, World of Warcraft and Star Wars: The Old Republic stood out the most on PC. MMORPG’s never seemed to stand out as much on consoles such as the PS4 or the Xbox One mainly due to the popularity of RPG’s and shooter titles. While the Nintendo Switch has some decent online gameplay capabilities some would argue that its not quite on the same level as the PS4 or the Xbox One.

While the Nintendo Switch is a great platform for various different genres of gaming to shine on MMORPG’s May not be one of them. For the most part MMORPG’s are better off on PC than they are on actual game consoles. It seems like first party games along with 2D retro themed games stands out more on the Nintendo Switch than anything.
