There is no doubt that WCW/NWO Revenge was one of the hottest titles for the N64 back in the late 90’s. Since its release for the Nintendo 64 WCW/NWO Revenge has managed to sell over 1.8 million copies worldwide since its release back in the Fall of 1998. The inclusion of of various match types along with a Championship mode were among many things that made WCW/NWO Revenge an exciting fighting title to own for the N64 especially for fans of pro wrestling.

As popular as WCW/NWO Revenge was for the Nintendo 64 there are some who wonder whether or not the game could of had the same level of success on the PS1 back in the late 90’s. On one hand WCW/NWO could have worked on the PS1 but the visual quality and graphics would have definitely pales in comparison to what we got on N64. Also, we got to see WCW/NWO Thunder on the PS1 that same year so having the Revenge game for the 32-bit console would not have made much sense.
