When we think about classic racing titles from N64 the top titles that generally comes to mind includes Mario Kart 64 and F-Zero X. While Mario Kart 64 was very popular and drew more mainstream attention F-Zero X was not quite on the same level. In fact, despite how fun it was on the Nintendo 64 F-Zero X does not get talked about nearly as much as the original game which was released for the SNES back in 1990.

While F-Zero is definitely an N64 Classic that deserves a remake it seems unlikely that it will ever happen. In the year 2018 there are many people who would rather see a new F-Zero game altogether opposed to a remake of F-Zero X. After all F-Zero X was released for the Wii Virtual Console back in 2007 so its possible that Nintendo can make it available on the Nintendo eShop in the future.
