Ever since the release Neo Geo Mini was announced by SNK a few days ago many people have wondered what type of games would appear on the retro based console. When it comes down to one of the most popular games that SNK has ever made for any Neo Geo console King of Fighters 98 would probably be in the top ten on the list of many people. King of Fighters 98 was such a big Neo Geo title back in the 90’s to a point where it was arguably more popular than other 2D fighting games such as Street Fighter Alpha 3.

Even though, King of Fighters 98 was popular back in arcade centers during the late 90’s many gamers from this current generation of gamers most likely never had a chance to play this game. While its true that King of Fighters 98 is also available on the Nintendo Switch along with the PlayStation Network King of Fighters 98 would definitely stand out more on the Neo Geo Mini if SNK decides to include it within the list of 40 games built into the console.
